Dear user community,

I've tried searching the archives, but have not found my specific problem. I'm
trying to install Packet Fence 6.4.0-1 on a fresh install of Debian 8.6.0
(Jessie). I'm using MySQL 5.7.17. When I run the configurator to do the initial
setup, it fails to create the PF database. It does pass the root login test. If
I try to manually create the database by typing "mysql -u root -p pf <
/usr/local/pf/db/pf-schema-6.4.0.sql" MySQL complains with the message:

ERROR 1171 (42000) at line 43: All parts of a PRIMARY KEY must be NOT NULL; if
you need NULL in a key, use UNIQUE instead

Is this version of MySQL too picky or have a bug? Is the schema broken? Are
there some other steps that are needed? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jon
