Hello sridhar,

if you want to enable packetfence on a ssid then it start with the radius config that point to PacketFence'ip.

Then if your device is unreg then you will fall in the reg vlan and hit the captive portal, then register and be disconnected to the ssid in order to have a new radius request but with this time the prod vlan.

So you will never had choose an ssid after the captive portal.

Except if you want to do provisioning , then in this case after the portal there is a another page that give you the way to configure your device to connect on a secure ssid.

Regards

Fabrice

Hi,
I am having hard time understanding how wireless COA works. As the document states we need to configure two SSIDs one open and another secure. My question is where are they configured to be related to each other. I can have One open SSID and five other secure SSIDs , how would I tell packet fence that a particular secure SSID has to be used after user logs into captive portal.

Also how is user experience going to be in this case. Do they see a change in SSID they connected to when this happens.

Sridhar.
