I just downloaded the latest version of PF 7 yesterday and have tried
installing it on a clean installation of Debian 8. I followed the FAQ
instructions for installing on Debian 8.

After installation I can not access the configurator.
port 1443 is not listening even though it says httpd.admin is already
started. (/usr/sbin/apache2 -f
/usr/local/pf/var/conf/httpd.conf.d/httpd.admin -DFOREGROUND -Ddebian)

There is no currently-at file in the conf directory.

httpd.admin.error logs just show this packetfence.packetfence.org:443:0
server certificate does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

packetfence.log shows unable to connect to database: Access denied for user
'pf'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at -e line 1.

pfconf.log also shows mysql log errors

I have reinstalled the server 3 or 4 times now from scratch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a side note, ZEN does not work on Vmware 6.5, thus the reason for
installing from scratch.

Thanks in advance,
WaltDjr
