Hello,
I was wondering if it is currently possible for PacketFence to authenticate
802.1x (FreeRADIUS) requests against an external provider (e.g., Okta —
OAuth2/SAML). I see that the PacketFence captive portal auth currently supports
SAML and OAuth2, but 802.1x uses different authentication mechanisms. I do not
have an Active Directory/LDAP server, as most of my apps use Okta for
authentication and authorization. This module looks promising
(https://github.com/jimdigriz/freeradius-oauth2-perl), but I haven’t had a
chance to test yet. Has anyone attempted anything similar?
