I did finish one implementation recently and started monitoring the solution,
and because the packetfence is on inline mode there is a way to know what nodes
is online or offline ?
I have a Wireless Aruba doing a ssid static vlan, and the packetfence doing the
handle for guest or corporate with the modulos of LDAP[with radius, I was able
to auth but was getting the message that XXX@mydomain was not able to be a
sponsor on the sponsor module] and Sponsor.
In my case PF is the gateway and the DHCP.
Everything is working good as far as I need right know, but I was wondering how
I can gain more visibility and understand how can I get the column of status of
the node with the actual information.
And, anyone here know why I wasn't able to have my users marked as sponsor
using radius? or maybe my radius wans't receive messages the when using the
sponsor module ?
With the Radius module I was able to receiving the message on the radius side
when doing the Authentication procedure, and the user was able to authenticate
but when fill-up the form for the sponsor all my domain users emails was saying
that they aren't able to sponsor even when my Radius module have the same
rules(mark as sponsor + role default and 5 days of auth) as my LDAP module that
is working.
