Hellot Yan,
there is some switch that can detect that the radius server is not
available and fall back to open (cisco/HP).
Also what i recommend is to enable the monitoring scripts
(https://github.com/inverse-inc/packetfence/tree/devel/addons/monit)

Hi dear users,
Did your encounter the case when mariadb reached the max connections
and rejected all authentication requests ?
Yesterday morning we met this issue and it cost us about 40 minutes to
recover all services(finally rebooting server resolved our problem).
This issue has very bad impact as many users complained it.
Is there any configuration can directly bypass all users when mysql is
down ? Can I achieve this by replacing AD authentication source with
null source ? ?0?2BTW we have 2 pf servers(V7.3) deployed in 2 different
offices in standalone mode. Hope your reply if you have similar
practice. Thank you.
