Hello Wifi Guy,
does the role changed in the admin (when you edit the device in the
admin gui) ?
If it's the case then the issue is with the deauth.
Btw if you have logs it will help to understand what happen.
Regards
Fabrice

This is Device_registration:
[default]
description=default
allowed_devices=
category=
[GamingDevices]
allowed_devices=6
I also tried in violation.conf
[1100007]
actions=autoreg,reevaluate_access,log,role
enabled=Y
window=
access_duration=12h
vlan=GamingDevices
target_category=GamingDevices
grace=120s
Its the role change that doesn't work, auto reg seems fine, but
devices stay in reg VLAN
I do ROLE MAPPING BY DEVICE ROLE

Thanks for sending this. Is this the only way to change role via VLaN?

Hi, there are examples in vlan_filters.conf for that:
Something like:
[gaming_by_devclass]
filter = node_info.device_class
operator = is
value = Gaming Console
[1:gaming_by_devclass]
scope = AutoRegister
role = whatever
[2:gaming_by_devclass]
scope = NodeInfoForAutoReg
role = whatever

Hi
Hoping someone can help me with the UI/CLI config for
Auto-Registration. I wanted to have this on the onboarding
SSID that is also used for all other devices. However, from
using the fingerbank database to profile devices that are for
example playstation and avoid them from the CWP and auto
register.
Best
