I am working with a Debian 8 install of PacketFence 8.1. I am not on an AD based network but instead just have an LDAP server running OD (Open Directory). I am in the Authentication Sources > New Source and I keep getting a very ambiguous error.
“Error! An error condition has occurred. See server side logs for details.” I am looking in my /var/log folder and am not seeing anything in the systole that would give me any idea on what I need to do. Where is this folder of logs I need to look though to see what is not working. My configuration is very different than the default since I am using UniFi hardware, with a LDAP based directory. No AD or domain as such since it is not a Windows network. All Linux and OSX devices.
