Hello Geert,

a fix has been pushed in the maintenance branch.

you can do a pf-maint.pl to apply the fixes.

Let me know if it helps.

Fabrice

Hi,

I dived a little deeper into the documentation and from what I can make of it bandwith accounting should be possible even in an out-of-band deployment.

There is nothing much I can screw up in mij Unifi Settings here I guess. So the fault must lie somewhere else.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

best regards,
Geert

    Hello Peter,

thank you for the response. I was under the impression that Radius
Accounting would provide bandwith consumption statistics for the
    connected clients.

    Best regards,
    Geert

        Geert,

I think the bandwidth numbers are only meaningful when you use
        packetfence inline.

        results

        Hello,

We are now running PF for one month in our school and so far
we are doing great. Besides some small problems with users
being confused about SSL certificate warnings I really can't
        complain.

I'm running PF Out-Of-Band with a Ubuiqiti Unifi Wifi setup
and 802.1X authentication. I've also configured Radius
auditing but noticed that the numbers shown in PF could never
        be correct.

Most of our users have use more than 100TB of bandwith. Surely
this can't be correct and there must be a configuration error
somewhere. Where should I start looking? On the unifi
controller there isn't much I can change besides the Radius
        Server IP and port.

        Thank you for your help.

        Best regards,
        Geert
