Hi !

Does your packetfence system can ping the AD ? Have you linked PF to the domain
?

In case, there's a way of getting LDAP style DN's out of AD in a
copy/paste-able format. In Active Directory Users and Computers, find the
object you want the DN for, right click on it, left click on Properties, left
click on the Attribute Editor tab, scroll down to distinguishedName, select it,
click on View.

Objet: [PacketFence-users] Error! Can't connect to server or bind with ....

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to an AD source using a production AD with Nested OUs. when
ever I make a test connect I get this error.

Error! Can't connect to server or bind with
'CN=first.last,OU=USERS,OU=Organization,OU=AGENCIES,OU=TENANTS,DC=domain,DC=local'
 on 192.168.1.5:389

These are the strings I used

Base DN:

OU=USERS,OU=Organisation,OU=AGENCIES,OU=TENANTS,DC=domain,DC=local

Bind DN:

CN=first.last,OU=USERS,OU=Organisation,OU=AGENCIES,OU=TENANTS,DC=domain,DC=local

Please anyone who is able to point out what I am doing wrong.

Kind regards
