Hi Tony,

I have the same issue when deleting an interface and I don't know if it is that
way by design.
Note: I recommend not touching "Management", Registration" or "Isolation"
interfaces.

Best way to delete a VLAN is to use the CLI:
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
Delete the interface config file there and check the IP configuration:
ip a
Then, make sure the GUI shows the same.

A colleague of my is considering to make the change possible in the code so
the GUI will do this.
Brgds,

Eran.

Subject: [PacketFence-users] Cant modify/add/delete VLAN's on packetfence GUI

Hi Guys,

Running latest version of Pachketfence on CentOS 7.6

I need to make changes to VLAN's in the admin GUI but every time I delete a
VLAN or multiple VLAN's and reboot the packetfence machine, the VLAN/S is/are
back again. I have searched high and low on how to fix this, but no luck. I
thought I saw something about running a script or task when making changes to
the VLAN/interfaces but can not find it again.

I have been able to add VLAN's but they can not be removed.

Surely there is a way to re-configure the VLAN's, add or delete them in the Web
GUI.

What part am I missing? Any pointers would be appreciated.

Tony
