i maybe only have an answer for the first question.
if you are talking about the network interfaces then you can toggle the
on/off button in the admin GUI :
network configuration -> interfaces and to delete them for good just delete
the network file that had been created in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-XXX
