Management interface will be the one use to manage PacketFence (SSH, web admin) and also by default to receive RADIUS requests. You can have only one management interface.

You can put a trunk to PacketFence then you will need to create sub-interfaces in PacketFence web admin.

I also have a sub-net for my server and network device firm that i
would not want to disrupt.

The best would certainly to start with a ZEN installation [1] to make a PoC.
