Hello, list. Given we have PacketFence 9.1, Active directory and 802.1x authentication in wired network. I'm wondering if it's possible to implement following logic: 1) User is authenticating with own credentials and gets access according to role. 2) PacketFence remembers user's role and connects it with the user's machine. 3) Next time that PC authenticating with machine auth it gets that role (before user login).
The goal is to make machine "follow" users, so it has the same access as the last logged in user. Is that's possible? If yes, can you please give some directions how to do that? Thanks.
