domain join fails, as well as troubleshooting steps, such as "/chroot

in /var/log/messages there are:
Jul 20 16:45:57 lfls07 perl: iptables-restore: line 201 failed
Jul 20 16:46:58 lfls07 perl: iptables-restore: line 204 failed
any othere suggestions how to fix this, please?
it's a clean install of pf 10.1 on centos 7 in brand-new hyper-v VM,
not an upgrade.
