It does authenticate me when I log in as the sponsor user, it just doesn’t
recognize that the user is a sponsor. How would it know that the user exists
and is set as a sponsor in PacketFence without that user created? Without the
user manually created, it does use AD to authenticate the sponsor login, just
doesn’t see it as a marked sponsor.

I think maybe I am a bit confused as well with the workflow here. My AD
authentication source marks the user as a sponsor with no other conditions or
anything to keep it simple.
