Hi there! I am composing a Captive Portal for guests using Packetfence (CentOS7) and about 50 Aruba Instant APs (AP303 Aruba instant 8.x). But after a month of trying many config options and searching many articles on google, I realized that I'll don't succeed without advice and tips.
I've created a lab with this setup: VLAN 1 - management, Aruba AP, Internet router - 192.168.0.0/24 VLAN 2 - registration - 192.168.2.0/24 VLAN 3 - isolation - 192.168.3.0/24 When I connect using iPhone, I receive an IP from VLAN 2, and the Captive Portal is presented. But after the authentication (null source, for instance), I do not manage to change the Role in Aruba. To be honest, I think I didn't understand how I should configure the Aruba AP to do the role change. There is an example for Aruba Instant in the documentation, but the example doesn't use Captive Portal, and the purpose is for Employees. Anybody here, by chance, have you managed to configure Captive Portal for guests using Aruba Instant APs? Any help is appreciated. Best Regards, Fernando Pimenta
