Thank you for your reply.

Checking the logs/mariadb_error.log, the file is empty and there are no
logs seen as have always been as this is not the first time I am checking
this file to see what the issue with the db might be.

How do I address this?

As for the fingerbank, I realized that the systemctl edit
packetfence-fingerbank-collector.service creates a new file.

I carried out all steps as you outlined and it seems the error has been
removed.
