A related question: What’s the right/correct/best way to disable it then? We don’t really use it, and I got tired of getting the emails about excessive usage so have tried to disable it but without an api_key in /usr/local/fingerbank/conf/fingerbank.conf you get complaints about that you should get a valid key…
I currently set ‘host' to localhost which sort of works, but you get a ton of warnings in the log files instead… (Since localhost isn’t really a fingerbank api server :-) - Peter > On 1 Jul 2021, at 12:02, Quiniou-Briand, Nicolas via PacketFence-users > <packetfence-users@lists.sourceforge.net> wrote: > > Hello, > > It’s not possible to use Fingerbank offline. > > Nicolas Quiniou-Briand > Product Support Engineer > <image001.png> > Office: +33156696210 > Akamai Technologies > 145 Broadway > Cambridge, MA 02142 > Connect with Us: > <image002.jpg> <https://community.akamai.com/> <image003.png> > <http://blogs.akamai.com/> <image004.png> <https://twitter.com/akamai> > <image005.png> <http://www.facebook.com/AkamaiTechnologies> <image006.png> > <http://www.linkedin.com/company/akamai-technologies> <image007.png> > <http://www.youtube.com/user/akamaitechnologies?feature=results_main> > > _______________________________________________ > PacketFence-users mailing list > PacketFence-users@lists.sourceforge.net > <mailto:PacketFence-users@lists.sourceforge.net> > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/packetfence-users > <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/packetfence-users>
