Good morning,

I'm having issues with routers installed on our campus, that shouldn't be
there, taking over the registration VLAN.

When this happens, users on the Registration VLAN get DHCP offers from a router
that is not the PacketFence server. I've disabled the por that it's connected
to, which "resolved" the problem. Now the question is, how do I get a DHCP
listener and a DHCP daemon, working on the same port.

I've tried to do this two different ways. One, through the web interface using
the same interface that offers DHCP. So, I select the interface, select
type=Registration, ensure that DHCP server is enabled, and under Additional
Listening Daemons, I select DHCP-Listener. All looks ok. And then I hit save,
and the type defaults to Other, and there is no DHCP listener enabled on the
port.

The other way that I've tried, is with another different interface. Ens192,
type=registration. DHCP server enabled. Save. Looks good. On ens256,
type=DHCP-Listener. Save. Looks good. Back on the interface page, ens192 now
lists Type Other, and the DHCP range is disabled.

I have not tried to do this through the CLI, using the configuration files.
But, I suspect that I could have the same problems?

Cheers,
Chris
