I use the field to map the client to the correct VLAN. e.g. the keyword "Digital-Signage" if this word is included, the client should be mapped into the VLAN X.
We are currently having problems with clients that are permanently assigned to a VLAN (mac, role, registered) no longer being correctly authenticated at random intervals. So I'm trying to rule out a configuration error. To do that, I start by assigning a client to a profile (which works) and then creating the correct source with the role and registration duration.
