Hello,

I'd like to report a bug or defect or something among the lines that doesn't
meet my expectations.

I have setup a wireless guest portal that seemed to work initially for the
first connection. This is what I mean by it.

I have the client that signed up through SMS registration (built-in)
registered successfully and connected to the network.

Then I manually deregistered it and had it disconnected from the SSID in
question. Had it connected again and it got connected without any splash
pages for Webauth or redirect.

The behavior is consistent with both Apple iPhone and Windows10 PC.

Here's how it looked before I deregistered it

And here's how it looked after I deregistered it.

I even assigned the reject role to those nodes but they still successfully
reconnect by showing the status of the node as unregistered. Deleting it
from the nodes list doesn't change anything.

It still reconnects as if it is an open WiFi without redirects.

Live logs if filtered for haproxy_portal.log doesn't show anything during
this successful connection

I have no clue as to why the client keeps reconnecting without any issues if
the node is deregistered. Is there any hidden logic that I'm not aware of ?

Eugene
