Configuring wired 802.1X authentication is often desired in public or communal areas to prevent unauthorized network access. documentation.meraki.com
Match that up with PFs docs: https://www.packetfence.org/doc/PacketFence_Network_Devices_Configuration_Guide.html#_switch_ms220_8 It may not be EXACTLY the info that you need, but that should get you most of the way there. You should implement mac authentification on your switch port and send request to packetfence servers using radius. Assurez-vous qu'il s'agit d'une personne de confiance. Can someone point me to the right area of the administration manual to setup basic MAC authentication. Our setup is simple, devices are all not allowed on the network unless its MAC address has been manually added to an approved Network, these networks have a vlan ID which places the device on the right vlan after they’ve been authorized. Thanks!
