Hello everyone,

I am new to PacketFence and currently have a Central Web Auth setup
that is working well.

I am looking for guidance on the best way to use PacketFence for
user-to-IP mapping on my firewall (i.e., mapping username/MAC to IP
address).

My goal is to send the MAC and IP of authenticated users via rsyslog
to my firewall.

At the moment:
- The RADIUS logs only show the MAC address, but not the Framed-IP-Address.
- I do not see any RADIUS accounting logs in
/usr/local/pf/logs/radius-acct.log and no pfacct.log either.

It appears that accounting may not be running or enabled, but I am not
sure what I am missing.

Previously, with a standalone FreeRADIUS server, I handled this using
a custom linelog module.

However, I cannot figure out how to properly add a custom linelog to
the FreeRADIUS instance bundled with PacketFence.

I also looked at the PacketFence API, but it does not seem to expose
all registered/online nodes or their MAC/IP mappings.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for the
recommended way to export user mapping information to a firewall.

Any help or examples would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Thomas
