It looks like the build is missing lircd support.
I then installed:
linux-3h2l:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # rpm -qa | grep lirc
lirc-devel-0.8.5-4.1.i586
lirc-remotes-0.8.5-4.1.i586
lirc-0.8.5-4.1.i586
pulseaudio-module-lirc-0.9.19-2.3.i586
liblirc_client0-0.8.5-4.1.i586
With that I tried to rebuild it myself, but ended up with:
linulinux-3h2l:/usr/src/packages/SPECS # rpmbuild -ba mythtv.spec
[..]
RPM build errors:

The libraries and binaries are building. I now get at least:
linux-3h2l:/usr/src/packages/BUILD/mythtv-0.21 # ldd
./libs/libmyth/libmyth-0.21.so
liblirc_client.so.0 => /usr/lib/liblirc_client.so.0 (0xb6ebd000)
But I would expect the same in mythfrontend and it is not linked in there...
Any help would be much appreciated...
