By the way: The original Situation where I discovered that issue was: I was burning an AudioCD with K3B and was doublechecking the selected Files with Amarok (since K3B unfortunately does not play the files directly).
So I assumed the CD was broken. An hour ago I decided I was curious about what the CD sounds like on my Hifi-Rack. Guess what: All fine. So despite the fact that Amarok does not play the file, K3B was burning it to AudioCD flawlessly. I don't know where to start looking?!?! Regards, Martin -------- Original-Nachricht -------- Betreff: Amarok & mp3-Files Datum: Fri, 16 Dec 2011 16:46:28 +0100 Von: Smartysmart34 <[email protected]> An: [email protected] Hi all, I tried to play a mp3 file from 7digital.com in Amarok (Suse 11.4/64 with packman-codecs) but the sound was heavily disturbed. Playing in Totem: Same issue. Other files from the same source: Perfectly fine. I tried the same files under Ubuntu 10/04 with Totem: All work fine. So i assume it is an issue with the Packman codecs?!?
