I have just upgraded to openSUSE 12.3, and noticed that Miro is no
longer available in Packman: http://packman.links2linux.de/package/Miro

Is there a reason for this?

BTW, I tried building Miro from source
http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/pculture.org/miro/src/?C=M;O=D
(I think the version here is more recent than the one in Packman)
but stumbled upon some problems. The first one was solved
using this patch:
http://www.calculate-linux.org/packages/media-video/miro/files/miro-5.0.4-ffmpeg-1.patch

The second problem looks identical this one
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32424
but I don’t now how to solve this in openSUSE (are changes to the
webkit package(s) needed?).
