No, it doesn't provide it:
# rpm -q --provides cdrkit-cdrtools-compat
cdrkit-cdrtools-compat = 1.1.11-16.1.3
cdrkit-cdrtools-compat(x86-64) = 1.1.11-16.1.3
(that's on 13.1, but it was the same on 12.3 already, IIRC)

The packages (others are also affected) should require /usr/bin/mkisofs
instead I think, this could be resolved with either cdrkit-cdrtools-compat
or the mkisofs package from Multmedia:apps.

I created bug reports now about those packages, and some more I found to have
broken dependencies:

Thanks - Yes. I figured that out.
But now the application crashed out on selecting the destination dir.
I managed to get it to select and start once but then the process never actually moved on from 0%

FYI: I tried on the same machine with Kubuntu 14.04 and had the same application behavior issues
Currently Mint 13 Mate on my Netbook is processing what I need with devede
