Please enable vlc-plugin-fluidsynth in VLC for openSUSE Leap 15.2 so it will play midi files. The site https://wiki.videolan.org/Midi/ states it works when the Linux version has vlc-plugin-fluidsynth installed. The videolan site mentions installing vlc-plugin-fluidsynth in Ubuntu.

The file at https://pmbs.links2linux.de/package/view_file/Essentials/A_15.2-vlc/vlc.spec?expand=1 states:

# Fluidsynth plugin is known to cause strange crashes here and there - disable it for now (2014-10-07, DimStar)

Is it still "now" after 6½ years? It seems the Fluidsynth plugin is working OK in Ubuntu, and it definitely works in Windows 10.

Thanks,
Howard
