Good day, Packmans! I managed to install ffmpeg-6 from this repo:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/X0F:/branches:/multimedia/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/home:X0F:branches:multimedia.repo I had to break a dependency to do it: Problem: nothing provides 'libx265.so.207()(64bit)' needed by the to be installed libavcodec60-6.0-14.10.x86_64 Solution 1: do not install ffmpeg-6-6.0-14.10.x86_64 Solution 2: break libavcodec60-6.0-14.10.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies I have no idea if these codecs support all of the proprietary formats Packman provides, (I have been using Kodi and have not encountered any unplayable formats yet). Still, in any case, it should be simple enough to switch back to the Packman versions, once they are available, using: > sudo opi codecs Kind regards, Steven.
