You don't use any po helper? Maybe you should. There are several dedicated applications : poedit, gtranslator, kbabel, etc Personally, I use a vim plugin : http://vim.sourceforge.net/scripts/script.php?script_id=695 All of these should allow you to find the untranslated and fuzzy messages, and to find eventual errors.
