Looks good, but as I said in my last mail, it also needs to be
documented in makepkg man page (Environment Variables paragraph). Should
be fine to use the same wording as in [1], though. Thanks.

The commit you're referring to is not merged into master. Isn't better
to wait for that or Dan is going to merge from Allan anyway?
That commit will be merged at some stage. The other option is I edit
that commit to add the documentation to the makepkg man page. I don't
care which...
