The changes file for the current development cycle is quite simply
amazing : http://svn.perlide.org/padre/trunk/Padre/Changes

Adam has also blogged about the improvements to Padre:
http://use.perl.org/~Alias/journal/40133.

So even though it's been only been just on a week since the last
release, I think we are looking set for an earlier than normal release.

I'd like to keep releases to about every 2 weeks, but given the sheer
amount of changes and fixes to Padre, I think the sooner the better as
it's really a great way to show off the IDE given the improvements to
Padre's overall responsiveness.

If anyone has any objections to an earlier than normal release let me
know, otherwise I'll look at releasing 0.56 tomorrow night .au time,
which for the records will be 1000 UTC, 2100 local time to me.

Pete.
