Convenience for me isn't the issue.. it's not that much trouble to do the release really. What it comes down to is managing how we want to handle things. Clearly the biggest amount of effort will fall on you to get the merge done to trunk. I have no idea how long this is likely to take or how you would like to do it - ie on a weekend during sane hours, or any time at all. I think - being conservative - we could hold up the next release for 0.64 to give the translators a chance to get languages as good as they can be. That way we have a fairly good position to, if needs be, hold over the 0.65 release with the new Task API longer than normal, ensuring the core of Padre is fully migrated. It would also mean we give the plugin owners plenty of time to get their plugins ported, effectively seeing a 0.65 in fairly good shape. If that were to be the case, I'd go for a release next week for 0.64, leaving next weekend to get the merge done. Unless you really feel compelled to jump into the deep end and do it all this weekend. But there's a voice inside saying "take your time"... :) Pete.
