Hi all,

we should add a few days for searching and fixing.

Padre now walks through my entire filesystem complaining that /dev/tty* is
not a regular file :-)
This isn't a good behaviour because it may hit remote filesystems and slow
down everything without any use (I don't plan to open /dev/ttyp1 with
Padre).

Sebastian

Just a quick note to $whoever.

I am now happy with the post-merge state of the Task 2.0 stuff, and

both the Function List and Directory Tree rewrites that make use of

it.

Although we should still keep the "unstable" warnings on it, I'm happy

to see the current codebase released.

Please test, translate, release and generally feel free to hack away

to your heart's content.

I'm happy to roll out a release as the first of the unstable releases.
Being on cpan it gives people who don't want to run trunk a chance to kick
the tires and report back on issues found etc.

Are we happy enough for that?

Or do people want to limit the damage for a bit longer still?

Peter.
