Hello comPADREs,

i hadn't looked for a long for a stable and robust Perl IDE and was
delighted to stumble a very promising young candidate for that need.

When trying to download and install i found 2 things.

1) The download link on the google page is broken, this is major and
should not be :(

http://padre-perl-ide.googlecode.com/files/strawberry-plus-padre-0.63.zip
<<-- it downloads the file upto ~3megs and breaks.

2) An older variant of that blend >strawberry-plus-padre-0.56.zip< does
seem to bundle a perl variant which is not relocatable. This is bad i
think. I don`t want to mess my current Perl installation (a vintage
5.8.x) by installing Padre MSI and found the idea of having a complete
package ready to be run out of the box great.

However it does require to fiddle with the paths. So could a small
manual install script be shipped with the archive? Likewise the way
IndigoPerl does? (it supplies a perl installer to update the environment
to include the necessary folders in the path - this is elegant and helpful)

Or even better: a relocatable variant of Perl to be included as well.

Cheers
~StarG
