hi Zeno, I guess it is ok with you to post this back to the Padre mailing list as this is purely technical material. I think in general it is much better to keep the list posted on such matters so others can also add their own thoughts.

There are already too many features in Padre that can confuse the new users. I just saw this when teaching.
