Hi The OS of my PC is, Windows XP Japanese,and I have same question about Padre on this platform.
1.Can the Padre convert the file encoding? The encoding of the file opened,is "shift-jis", and, I converted the file encoding with "Edit"->"Convert Encoding" ->"Encode document to UTF-8" menu, but the file's encoding is still "shift-jis". by the way ,can I convert the file to utf-8 with NO BOM? 2.When I open a file that file name is Japanese,it seem that the Padre Window title can not show it correctly. Just like "c:\test\?????.pl". Is there any way to fix it? 3.After installed the Padre,the default value of @INC in Padre IDE is “c:/strawberry/perl/lib” “c:/strawberry/perl/site/lib” “c:\strawberry\perl\vendor\lib” “.” And I want to add the ”C:/Perl/site/lib” and “C:/Perl/lib” into @INC. Is there somewhere to set it in the Padre. Best regards Mars
