Hi Martin, generally, Padre does not care whether it runs on 32 or 64 bit. Wx (the GUI toolkit that Padre uses) may be more critical, though.
Have you tried the instructions on http://padre.perlide.org/trac/wiki/DownloadActivePerl ? I have neither experience with running Padre on ActiveState Perl nor on Windows, so I cannot help you with details, the only thing I can do is to give you some pointers where to look next. According to Mark's repository index, there should be Padre 0.70 packages for Windows, http://www.wxperl.co.uk/repository/index.html He also lists 64-bit Windows as supported: Windows 64 bit x64 Perl 5.12 Windows 64 bit x64 Perl 5.10 I hope this helps you. Best regards, Zeno PS: If you do not have to rely on ActiveState Perl, then there is also the possibility of using Strawberry Perl, which allows to install Padre directly from CPAN. -- MyMediaLite Recommender System Library: http://ismll.de/mymedialite _______________________________________________ Padre-dev mailing list Padre-dev@perlide.org http://mail.perlide.org/mailman/listinfo/padre-dev
