Greetings all

I managed to find a timeslice today to deal with some stuff that has
been annoying me at work.

I've made a number of changes to the Find in Files and Directory Tree
panels, mainly around making their background tasks friendlier.

There was also a major performance problem when you had expanded
elements in the directory tree and you switched between projects.

I've fixed, I think, most of these issues, as well as making the
background tasks for directory tree and find in files more responsive
to cancel events and having the panels themselves cancel existing
background threads more correctly (do it more often when needed, do it
less often when it shouldn't be).

The performance of Padre when running jobs on slow samba mounted
filesystems in particularly should be greatly improved.

If people could have a quick play and around and double check I
haven't broken anything, that would be appreciated.

If nobody can find any new bugs, we can release the next version immediately.

Adam K
