hi,

As we discussed on IRC we would like to improve the
quality of Padre. As it is a desktop project we find it
very hard to create automated test.

So we try to do manual testing.

Zeno has started to write a number of use cases for
Padre that will build up to become a check-list that need
to be tested before every release.

Some of them can be implemented as automatic scripts but
it is nice to have even those listed.

As a first step we need help in writing down similar use cases.
Later we will start to look for people who will be ready to check these
things before every release.

Each use case must be short, maybe 2-3 minutes, so people
can do one when they have a few minutes spare time. Later
we will need to provide a way for people to say they checked
one of them and to tell us which version of Padre and what
operating system did they use and if the result was ok or not?

So what we need now is people who like Padre and would like to
make sure a feature works. Please go to the wiki and add a
test case detailing how that feature can be tested.
