Apparently we have lots of discussions on IRC. Zenog suggested a way
to eliminate
problems adding new features to Padre by first implementing them as plugins.
I agree with that but there are many case that we want to make changes to Padre
e.g. fixing a bug or changing a feature that for obvious reasons
cannot be done in a
plugin.

I am personally feeling that I hardly know any more what's going on in Padre.
There might be other people with such feelings and I saw Adam being surprised
by certain code constructs in Padre. (In many cases they were mine).

I'd still like to make sure we have enough control over the direction
of the project and
that we make sure more than one person understands the code.
IMHO, if we don't do this then less and less people will be able to get a
hold on the code base.

So I'd like to make sure we discuss those changes and that
there are going to be at least 2 people who see the changes before
they go into trunk.

What do you think?

Here is an example:

I'd like to remove the "Perl/Automatic Bracket Completion"
menu option as it is also available as
"Tools/Preferences/Behaviour/Autocomplete brackets".
I just opened a ticket with this http://padre.perlide.org/trac/ticket/1102

I'll now see how easy/difficult this will b with out current technology.
