Open 20 files, save it as a named session. Close those 20 files and open another 20.
Select open session, and the original 20 come back. I'm not a fan either really, which is why I disable that feature. It is handily, however, used to implement the "last" Preference as well, so that if you close Padre with 10 files open the same 10 files are present when you open it back up.
