Hi, I am currently testing the release branch.
The tests I refer to are in http://padre.perlide.org/trac/wiki/PreReleaseChecklist http://padre.perlide.org/trac/wiki/PreReleaseChecklist?version=18 in case the numbering on that page changes. 1. Upon exit, I get a warning "Use of uninitialized value within %variable in substitution iterator at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/Padre/Wx/Main.pm line 1388."; was not in 0.80 2. Perl 5 scripts (4) fails, I get no output for "Run Script (Debug Info)"/Shift-F5 3. Syntax checking for Padre modules still does not work; known issue, http://padre.perlide.org/trac/ticket/1053 4. Double click on function names (Perl 5 modules, 3) does not set the focus to the editor window; known issue http://padre.perlide.org/trac/ticket/967 5. Running the Padre-created tests and scripts inside a generated project is not really smooth; I guess this is not a show-stopper. 6. Padre server (4) fails: Opening files in an existing Padre currently does not work; was not in 0.80 I guess we should not try to fix the known issues in the release branch. What about (1), (2), and (6)? Having (1) and (6) is definitely a step backwards with respect to last version (0.80) I also submitted tickets for some cosmetic issues that we may fix in trunk ... Testing was done on Ubuntu 10.04. It would be nice if someone else could test on other platforms, and of course other use cases as well. There are several settings in the preference dialog that deal with autocompletion.
