Hi, I figure I send an email about this just in case this is not a known issue.
When I attempt to open a Perl script in Padre 0.82 the editor will crash and display message below if run from cmd: Can't call method "editor" without a package or object reference at C:/strawberry/perl/site/lib/Padre/Document/Perl/PPILexer.pm line 16. Perl exited with active threads: 1 running and unjoined 0 finished and unjoined 0 running and detached The workaround is to use the scintilla lexer To do this you need to go to Tools->preferences->Files and colors and change the highlighter value to scintilla I was able to open Perl script files without any issues. Should we have the option to not select a highlighter ? Charlie Gonzalez
