Hi,

I based this on my searches on various Perl topic I did searching for problems
I had in the past. It's an overall feeling and nothing based on actual numbers.

Our discussion doesn't feel like a fight, just a positive discussion. Talking
about those things should improve Padre's visibility within Google & others.

Links in text blocks are much better rated by Google. You don't actually pay
for the links and just asking people for putting links to pages they like
anyway (like Padre or the PM groups) is not illegal in terms of Google, but
they're not 100% voluntary (in terms of Google).

Getting too many links too fast could force a page into a Google penalty for
month to more than a year but Padre is "old" and I don't think we'll get in
this kind of trouble.
