Padre should be able to run on every reasonable Linux distribution. As it runs on Fedora and is even distributed by Fedora I am sure it would work on CentOS as well. It is usually up to some interested volunteers to actually package it for the distribution. If you'd like to do that, that would be great. Some of the packagers are also on this list. Others are only on our IRC channel. If you are only interested in running it on your machine, then I'd recommend installing it using the generic instructions for Linux.
