So far most of the changes are in the "tidying things up" category, plus some dependency reduction, API clean ups and the segfault reduction fix.
The last thing I want working properly is server integration, for sync and telemetry (popularity contest). The code we already have in the popcon plugin and sync integration modules isn't really good enough, so I've started writing a background event-based replacement. I'd quite like a chance to get this working, but I'm currently in the middle of moving from Australia to America. That should be finished in the next few days.
