It should work by simply running:

c:\anydir> cpanm Padre

or to skip failures:

c:\anydir> cpanm -f Padre

Hi,

I have just moved the wikipage explaining how to install Padre on Strawberry Perl to
this page: http://padre.perlide.org/download/strawberryperl.html

It would be awesome if you could try it and let me know if it works well?

If you'd like to add any more details please either let me know of send a pull request
for https://github.com/PadreIDE/template.padre.perlide.org/

regards
