I noticed that the Windows Portable Padre version was discontinued a while back in favor of the msi. What was the reason for this?
The msi requires admin access to the machine in order to install, making it unusable in situations where someone does not have admin access on the machine. Nor can someone carry it on a flash drive for use on any machine that they "jump on" (which is the main reason for having a portable version).
